Haulage

C&C is able to design an insurance programme to suit your budget and where possible we propose initiatives to help maintain or reduce your premiums in the long term.  Over the last 25 years we have gained an excellent reputation in this field, receiving regular commendations and referrals from our existing clients.

With many years of experience in this sector, we can provide risk management advice and support. This includes advice in relation to in-vehicle cameras, telematics and proactive claims management. Our services can help operators to reduce claims and lower insurance premiums.

One of our account executives will undertake a free due diligence exercise to review the operations and existing insurance covers in order to assess and agree demands and needs.

Goods in Transit

Haulage contractors, freight forwarders, warehouse logistics operators or couriers are liable by contract for any loss or damage to customers’ goods, whilst in their possession or control (in a warehouse or in transit).

Liability can be limited by way of contractual conditions of trade, the most common being Road Haulage Association (RHA), British International Freight Association (BIFA), Freight Transport Association (FTA), United Kingdom Warehouse Keepers Association (UKWA).

Whilst cover is limited to contractual conditions of trade, it can be extended to provide a higher limit per tonne or even “all risks” cover, depending on the contractual arrangements agreed with a customer.
